Job description

Eden Brown is working in partnership with a local college, to recruit for a Payroll Assistant based in Havering.

This is an amazing opportunity for Payroll Assistant to embark onto the organisation and join a successful team and including being responsible for supporting the Payroll team.

Key responsibilities:
- To be able to prepare all of the payroll data, and then input it into the payroll system.
- To support with the checking of prior to live run, making sure all data entered on to the payroll within the timescales set is correct.
- To be able to check, code and input pay and expense claim forms.
- To create and provide end of the month financial reports to Management Team
- To confidently and effectively be able to deal with staff questions about salaries, tax codes, NI, Pension deductions etc.
- To be able to coordinate as needed with staff and external service providers
- To have a strong understanding of Teacher Pensions, and how to manage them.

Candidate requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships quickly and efficiently
- DBS in place
