1st Line Support Engineer


Contract - 2 Months

£100 per day

My client, a leading mental health Charity is now in need of an IT Support Engineer to provide 1st and 2nd Line Support to the user base. This would be an ideal role for someone looking to progress into 2nd Line, gaining all experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide technical support within a skilled Help Desk function:
  • Manage the ticketing system by logging/updating/closing service requests, queries and incidents in the most effective way possible
  • To analyse & resolve IT incidents with a varying degree of complexity
  • To provide support for in all organisation systems including inhouse and cloud software systems
  • To support and maintain Active Directory
  • Escalate support requests to 3rd party partners such as Microsoft, FormationTech, Sysgroup, Cascade, Mimecast and Ethos Imaging among others if they are unable to resolve the issue on their own
  • To contribute to the development of the Service Desk's Intranet site including the production of Self Help Guides
