Job description

Eden Brown is proud to be working with a fantastic, forward-thinking and rapidly growing charity to recruit a Fundraising Officer. The charity offer individual counselling, group work and helpline services from their base in London.

This is a newly-created and pivotal position, and the role is part of a small, dedicated and friendly team and will have a lot of autonomy as well as flexibility for home-working. This role is for 3-4 days per week.

You will work with their CEO to raise funds, generate income, making sure their fundraising activities meet annual targets, raise their profile and enhance their reputation in line with their values.

The Fundraising Officer will identify, qualify and develop income opportunities from trusts and foundations, in line with their income plan, strategy and values, research, develop and maintain new relationships to secure funding, write tailored, inspirational high quality applications and project reports addressing grant-making priorities or requirements.

You will also plan, develop, implement cross channel direct marketing retention campaigns (through telephone, email, direct mail) and supporter journeys as well as upgrade and reactivation campaigns in order to retain and maximise income and engagement from existing supporters as well as growing the charity's community fundraising programme.

We are looking for a multi-disciplinary fundraiser with a proven track record of success in at least two of the following income streams: trusts and foundation, individual giving, community and events.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to play a significant role in shaping the organisation's fundraising strategy whilst generating immediate impact.
