Eden Brown and nGAGE raise £3,000 during fundraising week

Last week Eden Brown and nGAGE raised over £3,000 for their charity partner YouthNet during an action packed week of fundraising activities. From Monday 15th to Friday 19th September consultants from eight businesses and 10 offices throughout the UK collaborated in a united effort to raise much needed funds for the UK's leading digital charity. YouthNet help over 1 million 16-25 year olds a year to develop the skills and confidence they need to tackle life's challenges – from finding their first job to coping with mental health issues.

Events included an online auction which raised over £600 during the week. The prizes which included a PS4, supercar experience and a hotel stay were kindly donated by IRPS, ICS, Zippy promos, NWM, Paysure, TJW and Umbrella.

Teams of consultants took part in a Stretch a Fiver Challenge to see who could raise the most money from just £5. Congratulations to a team from Proactive Technical Recruitment who raised £427 by buying some raffle tickets and securing donated prizes.

A team of 28 consultants from nGAGE's head office in London teamed up to ride to ‘Brighton and Back’ on stationary bikes – a round trip of 150km. The team set to the challenge with such enthusiasm that they quickly smashed the target. After 7 hours the team had clocked up a whopping 444km making it across the Scottish border to Gretna Green – you can support their effort by donating here: https://www.justgiving.com/HCIG-Brighton-and-back

Other events included bake offs, tuck shops, bingo events, arm wrestling contests and a dress down day. nGAGE will continue to fundraise for YouthNet until March 2015. Future events will include taking part in the Santa Run in December.
